Introduction

What is BOATCLUB?

BOATCLUB is an initiative of the Boating Industry Association of Queensland Limited. (BIAQ).

The BIAQ was formed in 1974 to promote the development of the Queensland Boating Industry. As the peak body, the BIAQ generally protects and advances the overall interests of boating in Queensland.

BOATCLUB is an extension of the BIAQ charter and is aimed primarily at boat owners. BOATCLUB will give boat owners access to a state wide member based organisation, promoting their views on matters of importance as a strong single voice. BOATCLUB also offers an electronic information service providing boat owners with up to date changes in maritime legislation, existing legislation and other matters of interest including boating safety and the environment.

Members will also benefit from discounts on a wide range of goods and services.

What else does BOATCLUB offer?

BOATCLUB offers a lot more than just the provision of substantial benefits to individual members. The boating community as a whole will benefit from Boatclub membership.

The powerful lobby group formed by joining BOATCLUB members with the existing commercial members of BIAQ, will prove formidable in achieving more balanced outcomes in local, state and federal government legislation proposals.

Whatever reason you have for joining BOATCLUB, you will become part of a powerful and effective community of like minded people. Make it your organisation, take advantage of the membership benefits and have a say in the future of boating in Queensland.
